An oxymoron is a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear in conjunction
The above clip is from the movie Renaissance Man starring Danny DeVito. I absolutely love this movie and this scene and it works well to describe similes, metaphors, and oxymorons :) Most of us should already know these terms pretty well but just in case you don't, this video might help!

Indeed. That movie, though it didn't make it big at the box office, is a favorite of this English teacher. It's a great way to get across the idea of scansion too.
